One of my students wrote me this note...
I greatly appreciated the opportunity to learn from a living master during your Plein Air Washington workshop on Whidbey Island last week. There is a marked improvement in my plein air painting since my return. Your kit is priority one in being packed for my plein air trip to Jackson Hole later this month. It was thrilling to finally meet the creator of the magical driftwood painting from the maritime museum exhibit. I felt like I was able to capture some of the nuance of the driftwood while nocturnal painting on my last day at Ft. Casey. Thank you for sharing your expert art guidance and insights with me.

The Fort Casey workshop was a treat for me to teach! Big thanks to all the students who attended! We had a great time and painted in some of the most beautiful landscape in Washington on amazing Whidbey Island. I have no more workshops planned for 2015 but stay in touch here or on facebook for my 2016 itinerary.
